Practical accessory for Earthing rods
Ivema-Fahrleitungsbau GmbH has again invented a new product, to optimize the works at site and to reduce costs.
How often do you think will you be faced to an event of „I need to inspect something rapidly – NOW!!!“ ? Usually this is really allways a challenge, because special-machinery is needed. It is a nature of the matter that an Overhead catenary is installed in a heigth and thus ladders, scaffolds, Steiger-lifters or Towercars are necessary.
We developed now a practical accessory, which can be used in a connection with an Earthing rod (maybe telescopicrod) – which is allways available on a Maintenance or Service car – and allows a short Pre-Inspection of OCS-areas in the heigth.
We love to show hereby our Bajonet-deviceholder for e.g. Smartphones or Cameras – it can be attached to an Earthing-equipment rod.
Onto this holder a Smartphone, or Camera, or any other device will be attached, the Videofunction will be switched on (or camera via bluetooth(R)-switching). Then the telescopic-rod will be extended and relevant videos or pictures will be made in the heigth. Afterwards you can evaluate the data-files easily on your computer, or handheld.
If an inspection of a bridge-insulation-application, or burnt contacts of hornswitches or section-insulators, the adjustment of tension-springs or wall-anchor-checks – the bandwith of different usings do not have limits (e.g. as shown in the pictures; with an infrared-accessory for a smartphone).
This little assistent tool should be placed in every maintenance tools-set, kept in the cases of Earthing equipment; it completes the working-kit of Maintenance staff or Service-people. (note: patent-pending; Dt. Patent- und Markenamt)
